trunk or treat!

Halloween came slightly early for us this year. Last Saturday, Orem 8th ward held a trunk or treat. For those of you like me who had no idea what this means, it is trick or treating in the chapel - all the kids get dressed up in their costumes and go door to door to get candy. There was halloween themed games, prizes and a yummy birthday cake. Amy Toluta'u did an awesome job planning it.

Malia and Amy's little stinker. lol.

Malia went as a cat and Kina went as a dog - a Dalmation dog that everyone thought was a cow. oh well. The kids had a blast and Malia had her very first lollipop! I can already tell this is gonna be one of her favorite holidays.

Raining cats and dogs - Malia, Spencer and Keiti

I was thinking my cat costume was all cute and clever until I saw this little boy. He was a scientist! All us other parents who dressed our kids up as an animal or a fake superhero felt real great. lol.

Lene's daughters were Tinkerbell fairies and her son was Peter Pan. She found most of their costumes at D.I and made the rest. So cute huh.

It was a very fun day. Malia went home sticky and happy and very hyper. Aaaaaah. Halloween.

I would steal the last pic if I didn't look so dorky in it. Hahaha... Loved the little scientist! I think I'll dress Spencer as a doctor next yr. :)

You guys look like you had fun. We totally missed it because of a little league football game. I am so far behind on everyone's blogs but it was fun to read all the happenings. Your dad was my art teacher and he was so hillarious all the time and always trying to give me a hard time. I remember just laughing all through my figure drawing class because he was cracking jokes about the model in a leotard. Your little family is so cute. I haven't seen Kina at church yet. I keep missing her but I'm sure she is growing bigger everyday. So cute.

Malia is such a cutie!! She looks so much like you! Do you know what I was thinking about the other day...Remember when you moved to Utah and you had never seen snow, and Mrs. Jones had me take you out to look at it during class:)

oka so cute, da little oriental scientist (ok how come I saw da picture & was like, oh! He's Hiro from Heroes!...and then I read da caption! So shame!) Booo- over here, they don't really do Halloween like that- it's more like memorial day eh! Oh, and no worries about trunk or treat! How come last Halloween I was so excited I had a huge bowl of da good candy (cuz I know I hate da houses with da junk candy k) and got like 3 groups of kids! Da ladies at my work were like, yeah, it's all about the trunk or treats around here...and they lived happily ever after, the end. noooovel!
