Highlights of "Mother's day"
Iron Man 2 with Wayne (It's good! Go see it!)
Pedicures with Kina (She took me to a new place and I LOVED it!)
Ginger lei from Wayne to wear to church (I started crying when I smelled it - it reminded me so much of Hawaii)
Talking to our missionaries Elder Alisa (Michael) and the Sister Latus (Nia and Sili) - they are all doing FABULOUS!
It was so fun to have a day. . . or a weekend to be pampered. I didn't expect any of it, but am so grateful for the sacrifices that were made to make me feel so special. I love being a mom - but it is difficult at times for me and a weekend like this last one left me feeling rejuvenated and happy.
I have so many good examples of great mother's in my life - especially my own mom - and they inspire and motivate me to be better everyday. I've loved experiencing motherhood with my closest friends. It's so nice to have people to talk to and understand what I'm going through - the bad and the good. I feel so lucky to have such a supportive family - my own and Wayne's family - they help me soo much and make me feel so loved. And most of all, I'm grateful for Wayne - thanks for making me a mom! ha ha
