happy st. patricks day!

Our St. Patricks day was very uneventful. Let's see . . . I washed the dishes and folded laundry in the morning and I had planned to vacuum and cook dinner in the afternoon BUT Kina called and invited us to a small-kine play date at the duck pond SOOO we actually got to celebrate the holiday! We had green cookies, green hats, green plates and even green BAGELS. Yeah, I know, we don't mess around, huh. lol! Since we couldn't find corned beef and cabbage we ate Little Ceasar's Pizza and root beer.

We sat and ate while the kids wandered and fed the ducks. It feels like spring is finally coming to Utah. It was a beautiful day!

Looks like the ducks didn't like the green bagels either.
Can you see it?

We found our friend Jaymie and her son,
Nolan on their walk. Isn't he cute?

Kika took this photo with my dinky little camera.
She has such a good eye. So nice, huh.

That's so cute you guys celebrated St. Patty's! I totally forgot about St. Patrick's day until I went to the gym and all the workers were dressed in green and clovers. If I had remembered, maybe I would've made green bagels too. hehe

LOL, I, like Line, had no idea it was St. Patrick's day. LOL, good for you to not only remember but to make it an event!

Good seeing you all at the duck pond. Thanks for the green bagel and cookies. Josh asked what flavor it was and he guessed it was spinach or green bell pepper flavored. I told him it was the latter and he believed me. It seriously did not occur to him that it was green because of green food coloring. haha. He ended up eating it though.

Oka! You guys just hit it! I wanted to do something cuckoo for St Patrick's Day, but Duran was working and...nobody else mentioned it around here, I felt like nobody knew. That looked like fun, though. Oh, and how come I never knew corned beef and cabbage was the thing to eat until last year?! LOL!
