BYU FOOTBALL - Wives Club and Cougar Kick Off!

Thursday was a busy day for BYU football. We had our first Wives Club Party of the season and it was so nice. It was at the Kimball's house in Indian Hills and was arranged by Michelle Kaufusi, Coach Kaufusi's wife - she did a great job. We played some getting-to-know-you games and Patti Edwards (Coach LaVells wife) spoke about being a football wife. She said when she first met her husband, she thought the football would "eventually just go away". She gave some great advice and council about being a supportive wife and positive influence on our husbands and people around us. We had salads for refreshments - there were about 10 to choose from. My favorite was the spinach and cranberry mix. Yum! We also received our exclusive Wives Club T-shirts! lol. They turned out way cute and I'm excited to rep at the games this season.

Our fun table: McKinzi Hall (Max's wife), Mataya Pitta (Dennis' wife), Booke Collie (Austin's wife), me, Candice Kalimafoni (Rocky's wife), Hailey White(Reed's wife), Kristy Denney (Brett's wife)

Our wives club shirts have a Y and a cute Hawaiian print on the front and back. This is the last time I pose with the two tallest girls there - I look like a shrimp! lol.
me, Alexis Bradley(Brandon's wife), Keilani soon-to-be-Unga (Havey's fiance:)), Candice

It was so nice to meet all the amazing women behind the amazing BYU athletes.

Afterwards, I headed over to the Cougar Kickoff by the IPF. It was WAY bigger than I thought it would be. There was a live band, a dunking booth, games, balloons, players signing autographs and hundreds of fans mingling with the athletes. I met up with Wayne, Kina, Tia, my mom and the little girls. It was great family time and we had a blast!

Michael and Wayne felt real because people actually wanted their autographs. I only had to pay them little bit this year, so I was happy too. lol
.

Towards the end, Wayne cut off a big balloon from one of the decoration posts for Malia to play with. She carried it around for the rest of the evening. Ahhh! Our little Atlas.

Go COUGARS!!
