heppy birfday!

Saturday was my birthday! I am now 21 years old!! lol. It was a great day, but I'm gonna be honest - I feel like every birthday after 20 is just kinda like another day - same 'ol same 'ol. Still, I have to admit - it was fun to be slightly pampered and kick it with my family and friends.On Friday, my work girls (Dori, Tazbaa, Bonnie, Sarana, me, Ireen) took me out to Macaroni grill. It was so nice to be away from the office and the food was so YUMMY!

Saturday morning, we went to watch the scrimmage in the stadium. It was so much fun! Michael and Wayne did very well and Malia loved being around the crowd.

For lunch, my parents took me and Malia to the park for a picnic with my favorite Kneaders sandwich - Turkey w/ cranberry on a croissant. Ahhh, perfection. And of course, a chocolate eclair for dessert. Afterwards, Malia played on the grass and in the playground - she especially loved the slide.

For dinner, Wayne's family took us out to eat at Chili's. The food was good and the company was even better.

My favorite gift was my brand new baby blue "Simplicity" vacuum cleaner. I've been going bagless for a couple years and was ready to go for the bag again - I feel like it picks up better. I honestly love vacuuming (weird, I know, but it helps me relax) and am excited to do a lot of it with my new and improved vacuum. WOOHOO!

I'm not good with dates and don't remember very many birthdays as most of you know, but when they are around my own. . .it's a little easier for me. I want to wish Happy Belated Birthday to Mark and Matt Fitu who's birthday is August 8, Jackie Peters who's birthday is August 9 and Ricki Suaava who's birthday is August 10.
