Like most of you know, my dad is an artist. I think he is a truly amazing artist. When a lot of people find out who my dad is they will immediately ask me, "Well, do you draw too?" I usually just hang my head in shame and answer no. Much to my dismay, I didn't inherit any of his artistic genes. However, after a little painting playdate, I'm starting to think it might have just skipped a generation. ha ha. We'll see!

She got a little creative mixing the paints to create different shades.
I'm mostly posting this pic for my dad. Looks like you and Malia have the same way of "getting inspiration", Dad. She stayed this way for a few minutes and then went right back to work. I couldn't stop laughing.
Final product? A masterpiece!. . . or at least a VERY colorful boat! :)

They are always "masterpieces" to us moms, huh? :) So cute... Carlos needs to hang out w/everyone more often than just Nursery.
