Every other year since I was a little little girl, my family has vacationed in Glen Lake, Michigan. On a map it looks like a little dot, but it has been a huge part of mine and my familys life.
My moms family has 3 houses on a little lake near Lake Michigan and every other summer we would spend a couple weeks with our extended family water skiing, kneeboarding, wakeboarding (some of us - it's a little harder), swimming, suntanning, hiking and of course, EATING! It's always been a very special place to me, not only because of the traditions and memories it holds, but because of the family relationships I've built there.
Here are some of the pics we've taken so far. . .
First day on the lake - the water was really cold. As you can see, Malia wasn't a big fan.
Shans BIRTHDAY!! - On Friday we had teriyaki chicken and chicken puupuus (made specially by Shan) it was YUMMY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAN!!
Dinner at the Grill - Malia had the BBQ ribs. They were a big hit.

Pooped - what Malia is after a day on the lake. Ahhh! I love it!

SO FUN!!! Spending time with fam is THE BEST!!! We just had a fam reunion too... it was a blast!
